NEWSLETTER
MARCH 2023
Dear <<First Name>>,
Welcome to the latest 4PLAS newsletter, what a busy month we've been having!! Not only does this month mark our 20th anniversary, we are also pleased to announce that Safic-Alcan has  further strengthened its presence in the United Kingdom by the acquisition of 4PLAS

During the last 20 years we have seen many changes to our industry and the world in general. We’ve all lived through recessions, numerous political upheavals, wars and even a global pandemic. Some of these events have had profound influences on our economy in general and more specifically on the plastics industry, but through it all we have never ceased from expanding our product portfolio and increasing our staff and customer base, we certainly have learned a lot and we are rightly proud of the service and support we have provided throughout it all.

From the outset, 4PLAS has had our founding core beliefs and targets as at the heart of everything we do, these were and remain as:

  1. Great customer service
  2. Competitive pricing
  3. Quality products.
  4. Focus on Engineering materials
  5. Great customer service and support.
  6. Continuous development of materials to meet market needs

On the whole we’re sure you agree that we have been successful at continuing to provide the industry leading technical and customer service demanded.  Our pricing is always competitive and we continue to develop exciting new products that meet the ever growing demands of our customers.

Our early success was built on offering fully recycled, near prime and prime grades of classic engineering materials.
In more recent years we launched our high performance 4TECH® materials, giving enhanced properties such as metal replacement, electrical properties and flammability resistance across a full range of polymers.

Our most recent addition to our portfolio is 4ETEC®, this is a range of 100% biodegradable materials based on PLA (Polylactic acid) and PBS (Polybutylene succinate) resins, as well as more traditional polymers modified with natural fillers such as wood flour, ground nut shells, coffee grinds and natural fibres. In addition we are also beginning to introduce non oil (bio-based) green polymer alternatives to long life high performance engineering polymers. Across this entire 4ETEC® range we are already seeing benefits in supply to packaging, consumer and automotive industries to name a few of the early adopters.

As we move into our next phase as part of Safic-Alcan we will continue to evolve but rest assured we will remain true to the core values that we hold so dear.

Here’s to the next twenty years !
Should you wish to discuss these materials or any of our existing products further, or wish to suggest any topics or specific applications you want us to cover please let us know and we will try and include them.

Please feel free to contact us at enquiries@4plas.com or call us on 0870 446 0424 and we would be happy to assist.
